Matt’s Trust Fund for Cancer has kindly sent us a cheque for over £11,000 as they are in the process of winding-up.  We have benefited in the past from their support with donations towards our international conferences.  Peter Hoyle who founded the charity in memory of his son writes: ‘ The trustees are all agreed that any money remaining in the kitty should go in the direction of The CUP foundation – Jo’s Friends. The approach used by your charity is a near perfect match for everything I would have liked to have done in Matt’s memory.’

Matt Hoyle was diagnosed with cancer, which turned out to be CUP, in March 2005 when he was aged 25.  There is a moving tribute to him on Matt’s Trust Fund website.
