Professor Penny Schofield and her family are taking part in the Melbourne Marathon Festival on 16 October. Penny is a highly valued member of our medical advisory board and one of the three principle investigators of the SUPER team – which stands for Solving Unknown Primary Cancer – based at The Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Australia. Their study spans psychosocial, clinical and molecular biology domains with the goal of finding better ways to diagnose, treat and support people with CUP.
The SUPER investigators and project staff have formed the Step up for CUP team to raise much needed funds for Cancer of Unknown Primary and the SUPER study. Those in Australia, and elsewhere, may wish to support Penny and further details can be found here
