We held the 4th in our series of international conferences on Friday 3 May at the Royal College of Physicians in London: Cancer of Unknown Primary in the Era of Precision Medicine. We had a full house with 135 delegates and speakers. The feedback forms showed that 100% of delegates found the conference useful (55% extremely useful; 34% useful; and 11% fairly useful). Our international expert speakers were all very highly rated and it was recognised as an extremely useful day by the CUP community. Tony Greco, who was due to chair the conference, was recovering in hospital in the USA following emergency surgery and the meeting was chaired by Harpreet Wasan.
The programme for the day can be seen here and the speakers here.
The poster prize (there were 11 posters) was won by Dr Sally Clive (Edinburgh Cancer Centre) for Analysis of prognostic biomarkers in patients with cancer of unknown primary.
