Our next international conference – CUP 2019 – will take place at the Royal College of Physicians on Friday 3 May. The conference chairman will be the world-leading authority on CUP: Dr Tony Greco. The focus of the day will be on CUP research and clinical management themes in the era of precision medicine.
We are on the cusp of an exciting new dawn with the benefits of immunotherapy treatment in some cancers and the experience of specific advanced cancers treated on the basis of Next Generation Sequencing where actionable genetic alterations have been identified.
We will explore what these revolutionary approaches mean for CUP patients; the learning from, and status of, CUP research projects around the world (including CUPISCO); the potential of immunotherapy treatment; and discuss with the international experts their prophecies for the future in respect of CUP and future research priorities.
