Very reluctantly, we have decided to close the Forum. The problem is spam! It gets worse and worse; cleverer and cleverer. We have re-launched the Forum a couple of times and tightened-up security more times. Every time we do this it makes it harder for people to access the Forum. We have been in this vicious cycle and the spam machines win every time. The side effect of change and tightening security means that we lose contributors and the critical mass we had established in our early years has been lost in recent years.
In place of the Forum we will place a Blog. This will allow us to share information that is useful to patients and others. To avoid spam machines we will not have the facility for direct responses but we can place the content of any responses sent by eMail on the blog. When will this happen? Probably towards the end of December.
